Masterlink is the only NZ-owned nationwide mentored apprenticeship programme specialising in plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying.
We're passionate about delivering first-class training support to our apprentices and our host companies.
Masterlink has always aimed to:
- increase the number of people training in our industry
- increase the number of businesses involved in training
- increase the number of qualified tradespeople in our trades, and
- establish standards of excellence.
We’ve come a long way since we started with one coordinator and a fax machine in 2002. But our objectives remain the same and we are still 100% owned by Master Plumbers.
Hundreds of Masterlink apprentices have gained their qualifications over the years with our support. Many have gone on to train apprentices either for their employers or in their own new businesses.
That's what apprenticeships are all about - passing valuable skills on to the next generation of tradespeople.
